Tabarie Nix, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 31, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side of the city. At approximately 11:47 p.m., Tabarie Nix was standing on the sidewalk in the 900 block of North Karlov Avenue when an unidentified male approached him on foot and opened fire.
