Anthony Flowers, 32, a Black/African American male, was shot on the afternoon of September 12, 2025, while standing outside in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood. Shortly after 1:26 p.m., in the 4900 block of West Monroe Street, an unknown offender stepped out of a light-colored sedan and opened fire, striking Flowers in the upper body. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
