On December 11, 2024, 16-year-old John Anthony Viruete, a resident of both Wheeling and Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost his life. Described by his sister as "basically a teddy bear," John was known for his deep care for loved ones, his ability to make friends easily, and an infectious, goofy smile that stretched from ear to ear.
