He was struck in the head and succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to Mount Sinai Hospital.
The shooting also claimed the lives of 22-year-old Ayanna Northern and a 30-year-old man whose name was not disclosed. Additionally, a 24-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man sustained injuries in the attack. In the aftermath of the shooting, two men were arrested and charged in connection with the murders. Anthony Jackson, 20, and Lawrence Brown, 22, were identified as the perpetrators who opened fire from the alley. Both men faced multiple charges, including three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated battery and discharge of a firearm, and two counts of attempted first-degree murder. Lawrence Brown also faced an additional charge of unlawful use of a weapon.
