On November 5, 2016, Demetrius Gaddis, a 22-year-old male, was shot and killed in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, outside a gas station. Gaddis was struck by multiple gunshot wounds, including a critical shot that passed through his heart, damaging his lungs and liver, which ultimately led to his death.
