Cassandra Holman

Cassandra Holman, a 45-year-old African American woman from Cahokia, Illinois, tragically lost her life on June 25, 2014. The incident occurred during a home invasion at her residence in the early hours of the morning. Around 4:00 AM, police officers responded to a report of a break-in on Kenneth Avenue. During the invasion, Cassandra Holman was shot and, despite her efforts to seek help by running to a neighbor's house, she succumbed to her injuries after being transported to the hospital.
