Upon arrival, officers found 35-year-old Yojevol D. Sturkey, an African American male, lying unresponsive on the ground. He was immediately transported to Carle Foundation Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite medical efforts, Yojevol Sturkey succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
