Tarina Mitchell, a 22-year-old woman from Rockford, Illinois, tragically lost her life on January 13, 2015. She was found dead in the front seat of an SUV, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The incident also involved Benito Martinez, who was found lying in the street with gunshot wounds and later succumbed to his injuries. Derrick Patterson, another individual involved in the incident, was found wounded in a nearby car but survived.
