William Stamps Sr., a 58-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on the night of March 27, 2015, in Maywood, Illinois. Stamps was found in his car on the 1400 block of South 19th Avenue, having been shot multiple times. He was rushed to Loyola University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
