Mikhail Evans, a 20-year-old African American male from Maywood, IL, tragically lost his life on March 4, 2018, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on the 1100 block of South 6th Ave. in Maywood. The Cook County medical examiner's office identified Mikhail Evans as the victim. The police have not disclosed if anyone else was injured in the shooting.
