Murdered

On July 16, 2023, Tristan Meeks, a 43-year-old resident of Maywood, Illinois, was fatally shot in the area of 4th and Main Streets in Maywood. Police responded to a call about shots fired and found Meeks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the scene.

Meeks was transported to Loyola University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
