Otis Richmond, a 21-year-old African American male from Chicago, IL, tragically lost his life on June 19, 2016. The incident occurred in the Englewood neighborhood, specifically in the 6400 block of South Lowe Avenue. According to reports, Otis Richmond was shot by his best friend, Richard Smith, also 21 years old, during an unfortunate and unexpected event.
