Tyjuan Poindexter, a 14-year-old boy, was tragically shot and killed on September 19, 2015, in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood. Tyjuan had been playing basketball with friends when a drive-by shooting claimed his life. He was shot in the head and died at the scene, while a 15-year-old friend was also wounded but survived.
