Pares Preston Harrington, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 5, 2019, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Harrington was standing on the sidewalk in the 800 block of North Springfield Avenue around 2:30 p.m. when a light-colored sedan approached, and an unknown assailant began shooting at him.
