In the early morning hours of December 9, 2025, police units in Chicago, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a person found unresponsive in the North Lawndale neighborhood. Around 12:37 a.m., officers arrived at an alley in the 1800 block of South Ridgeway Avenue, where they discovered a male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. First responders transported the injured man to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, but he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
