On July 12, 2016, James Moore, a 17-year-old African American male, was found shot to death in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 11300 block of South Carpenter Street. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire and discovered James with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
