Troy Haynes, a 19-year-old man, was fatally shot in West Garfield Park, Chicago, on the evening of January 23, 2025. He was discovered unresponsive in an alley located in the 4200 block of West Van Buren Street at approximately 7:50 p.m. Chicago police reported that Troy Haynes had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
