Just before dawn on Friday, August 22, 2025, Kewaun Clark, 33, was sitting in a vehicle outside a motel near West 49th Street and South Archer Avenue in Chicago’s Archer Heights neighborhood when someone walked up and opened fire, striking him multiple times. First responders rushed him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
