Jamario Crawford, a 14-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on November 11, 2016, in Rockford, Illinois. The incident occurred around 7 PM near the intersection of North Rockton Avenue and Bruce Street, close to the Roosevelt Community Education Center. Jamario was shot and killed by Coley Carwell, who was 15 years old at the time. Another teenager, 17-year-old Lontrell Brantley, was also shot in the shoulder during the same incident.
