Scott Travis Thompson, a 45-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on December 17, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of four victims found dead in a home on the Far South Side of Chicago, in the Fernwood neighborhood. The incident occurred in what police believe was a home invasion and robbery related to a drug sale earlier in the day.
