Stevie Jefferson, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on January 3, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, where Stevie and another teenager, Malik McNeese, were standing outside when a black SUV pulled up and someone inside opened fire. Stevie was shot in the head, and Malik, a 16-year-old African American male, was also fatally shot in the head, back, and arm. A 65-year-old woman, who was inside her home, was wounded by ...
