Jesus Humberto Padilla Romero Jr., a 16-year-old, was tragically lost to gun violence on the night of September 20, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. He had traveled to Chicago with two of his friends to get a haircut but never returned home that evening. During this outing, Jr was shot in the lower back and succumbed to his injury once he arrived at the hospital.
