Edward Nelson "Eddie" Jones Jr., a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 7, 1991, in Chicago, Illinois. Eddie Jones was a dedicated patrolman with the Chicago Police Department, serving in the 10th District - Marquette Tactical Unit. On the day of his death, Jones and his partner, Patrolman Dennis Dobson, were working the third watch on beat 1061D.
