Murdered

On October 17, 2017, 22-year-old Joshua Briggs was shot and killed inside a room at the Holiday Inn Express on Boston Street in Dorchester. The incident occurred around 4:15 a.m., during a violent robbery where multiple suspects forced their way into the hotel room to steal cash, jewelry, and firearms. Briggs, who was targeted during the robbery, was fatally shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.
