On June 24, 2023, at approximately 4 a.m., the Onslow County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting incident on Cordell Circle in Jacksonville, North Carolina, near the Good Fellas Bar and Lounge and a Waffle House. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 44-year-old Andre' Markell Lewis lying on the roadway with a gunshot wound. He was promptly transported to Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, where he was pronounced dead.
