On a summer night in Boston, the life of 31-year-old Luis Martin Pinalez-Perez, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. In the late hours of July 4, 2018, violence erupted that left Pinalez-Perez with fatal injuries. He was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to Boston Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
