In the summer of 1975, a shadow fell over the community of Frederick, Maryland, with the tragic death of 14-year-old Paul J. Lentz. A white male, Paul was last seen on June 18, 1975, with plans to go bowling. When he did not return home, a search began, ending in heartbreak six days later. On June 24, his body was discovered in a drainage ditch in a rural part of Frederick County by a state road crew.
