On July 1, 2023, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Frederick Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of West All Saints Street in Frederick, Maryland. Upon arrival, they found 28-year-old Tayquan Cornell Palmer suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Palmer was pronounced dead at the scene.
