Darren Martez Henderson, a 28-year-old African American male, was found dead on June 28, 2017, in Madison, Illinois. His body was discovered lying face down in an open field at the intersection of West 2nd and Jefferson. Authorities reported that Henderson had been shot multiple times and was believed to have been killed at the same location where his body was found. At the time of his death, Henderson was reportedly homeless.
