On December 14, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) responded to a shooting incident in the 1200 block of Southwest Shorewood Drive, located within the Rainbow Lakes Estates subdivision near Dunnellon, Florida. Upon arrival, they discovered 41-year-old Jeffery Robbins, a resident of Inverness, Florida, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
