Eric Paul Engel, a 43-year-old white male lecturer at the University of New Hampshire, died on February 15, 2014, in Dunnellon, Florida. Engel's death was a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, which occurred after he was surrounded by a SWAT team at the Anglers Resort in Dunnellon. Authorities had been searching for Engel in connection with the shooting death of Aleksander "Lenny" Wysocki, a 74-year-old white male, in Cary, North Carolina.
