Pedro Miranda, a 25-year-old male from Aurora, Illinois, was tragically found dead on July 20, 2017. His body, along with that of Enrique Villalvazo, a 39-year-old male from Montgomery, Illinois, was discovered in an SUV by a relative of Miranda's who had just returned from her third-shift job. The discovery was made in the 700 block of North Avenue in Aurora at approximately 6:45 a.m. Both men had been shot multiple times, and police believe they were killed sometime after 3:30 a.m. that morning, following their departure from their jobs at a factory in Batavia.
The Aurora Police Department has not yet established a motive for the killings, and no suspects have been taken into custody. The police are actively seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation. They have urged anyone with information to contact the Aurora Police Department Investigations Division or Crime Stoppers. Tips leading to an arrest are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
