Antonio Devon Johnson, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 13, 2020, in Aurora, Illinois. Antonio was found with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Responding officers pronounced him dead at the scene. Antonio was known for his love of basketball, boxing, and his dedication to his three-year-old son.

His mother, Juanita Parrish Johnson, remembers him as an amazing young man with a zest for life and a contagious smile. Antonio was employed at Central Transportation in Aurora and had previously worked at FedEx and JB Hunt Trucking Company. He accepted Christ and was baptized in 2007 under the leadership of Sr. Pastor Smokie Norful at Victory Cathedral Worship Center in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Despite the profound loss, there have been no arrests or suspects identified in connection with Antonio's murder.
