Anthony Morris, a 37-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on December 19, 2017, inside a grocery store in Maywood, Illinois. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. when officers responded to reports of a shooting at the store located in the 1100 block of Madison Street. Upon arrival, they found both Morris and a female victim with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Loyola University Medical Center, where Morris was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
