Shalonza E. McToy, a 22-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on June 18, 2018, in Chicago, IL. She was shot multiple times in the head, chest, and arm during a shooting incident in the Near West Side neighborhood. The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. at the ABLA Brooks Homes public housing complex near 13th and Loomis. McToy was pronounced dead at the scene.
