Deric Ford Sr., a 54-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2017. Deric was a dedicated worker and a beloved community member, known for his friendly demeanor and willingness to help others. He was the General Manager of a Dollar General store located in the Edmondson Village Shopping Center in West Baltimore. On the night of his death, Deric was preparing to close the store when he was fatally shot during a robbery attempt.
