On June 25, 2018, 46-year-old Derrick D. Golden, an African American male, was fatally shot in Chicago's Riverdale neighborhood. The incident occurred in the 13300 block of South Prairie Avenue. According to reports, Derrick Golden was seated in a vehicle when a female passenger engaged in an argument with an unidentified individual.
