Sammaquis B. Thompson, a 25-year-old individual, was found shot to death in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago on March 26, 2025. Authorities reported that Thompson sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was discovered around 5:10 a.m. in the 10100 block of South Prairie Avenue. The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed that Thompson was pronounced dead at 5:22 a.m.
