Sid Taylor, a 40-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on July 26, 2018, in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around midnight in the 5200 block of South Peoria Street. Taylor was with two friends in front of a house when Rodney Jones, a 44-year-old African American man, approached them through a nearby gangway and began arguing with Taylor.
