Darelle Lewis, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 27, 2018, in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 11:55 p.m. in the 5300 block of South Marshfield Avenue. According to police reports, a witness saw Tykwon Davis, a 21-year-old male, approach Lewis from behind and shoot him in the chest and back before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
