Eugene Cooley, a 25-year-old African American man, was tragically shot to death on April 15, 2019, in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago, IL. Around 10:09 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired and found Cooley unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked in an alley in the 3400 block of West 61st Street.
