Tyrel Peeples, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 7, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. Tyrel was playing basketball with a friend in the West Pullman neighborhood when an unknown assailant approached and opened fire. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the 100 block of East 124th Street.
