Leshaun Smith, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 15, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Leshaun was shot multiple times in the 7500 block of South Langley Avenue. Despite being rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries on January 18, 2021.
