Devon Caffie, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 15, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the South Shore neighborhood, where Devon and another 22-year-old man were walking on the sidewalk around 11:10 a.m. when they were ambushed by two individuals who exited a vehicle and began shooting at them.
