Heidi DeCarlo, a 43-year-old woman from North Port, Florida, tragically died on October 1, 2014, in what authorities believe to be a murder-suicide. Heidi DeCarlo, who was estranged from her husband, Bush Bena, 53, was found dead alongside him in their North Port home. The North Port Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance with shots fired at around 9:06 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of Heidi DeCarlo and Bush Bena.
