Death by Force

Wayne Smart, a 59-year-old resident of River Rouge, Michigan, was found murdered in his home on September 18, 2014. His body was discovered at approximately 1:30 p.m. in his bedroom, fully dressed, with a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Superior Street, near Eaton Street in River Rouge. There were no signs of forced entry, leading investigators to believe that Smart may have known his killer.
