Robert Carson Cook, aged 59, was tragically killed on July 21, 2017, in River Rouge, Michigan. The incident occurred at Cook's home on Oak Street around 8 p.m. According to reports, Justin Joseph Pruneau, the 33-year-old son of River Rouge Councilman Mark Pruneau, was charged with Cook's murder.
