Matthew Hudson, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 18, 2018, in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. when Hudson was found on a sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his back in the 2300 block of West 72nd Street. He was quickly transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
