Angel Martinez, a 24-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed on December 29, 2019, in the Brighton Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 10:50 a.m. in the 3000 block of West 39th Place. According to the Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Martinez was shot by an individual in a vehicle, possibly a white sedan. He was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
