Trenton Land, a 25-year-old man from Chicago, IL, was fatally shot on Labor Day, September 3, 2018. The incident occurred in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. Land was struck in the head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, September 6, 2018. An autopsy conducted on Saturday determined that Land died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
